Siam Center and world-class CE Toy (Creative Enhancement Platform Toy) are presenting the CE Platform Toy Festival, the latest mixed-media art exhibition showcasing over a hundred CE toys in various designs by 100 local and international artists. The event will be held on the first floor of Siam Center, from Aug 8-14, 2011
The exhibition seizes the hottest trends of CE Toy, which is the fruit of Thai creativity and has excelled at the global level, being named one of the world's top five in the category of Best DIY Platform at the 2011 International Designer Toy Awards.
Each artist uses his or her own techniques, including designing, graphic design, painting, collage and DIY mixed media, to transform their CE toys into distinctive characters.
Also unleashed at the show will be the creativity and imagination of celebrities, art lovers and fashionistas, who will introduce the novelty of art combined with fashion concepts with 30 creations.
Among the leading fashion houses whose designers will join forces to weave fashion into the arts are Kloset, Playhound, Soda, Wonder Anatomie and Seneda.
Celebrities sharing their ideas for changing the look of their CE toys include Arthorn Hoontrakul, MR Chalermchatri Yukol, Suksmith Amatayakul, Chira Chirapravati Na Ayudhya, Prathan Theerathada, Chalit Nakpawan, Danai Samutkojorn, Benja Benjarongkul and Surabot Leekpai.
